MY ARTICLE ON MEDITATION:

Meditation                                                   by  Melinda

There are different forms of meditation for man and spirit… and there are ways to unravel THE SOUL into the other realms safely, but this is practiced with guidance.

Other ways one meditates is by considering it to be a journey inward…the embarking of a path to the inner experience, the inner soul and the inner mind of that body that which you call yourself. This path takes you to the places you are afraid to go while otherwise occupied- and this is virtually all the time for most of us, and the outcome is the destruction that fear and a release of fresh energy into the areas of the self that have been otherwise blocked.

Although the experience is completely enjoyable and pleasurable in all sense, we forget consistently to do it- though that forgotten self is always there to remind us when we are finally ready to listen.

The everyday experience is so similar for so many souls and yet completely different from the soul in meditation. To unpeel the eyes is one way to put it … to swim through the air from scene to scene and magically attract those things we choose to draw to us- sometimes before we even realize it.

There is no easy way to begin the process because it goes against the strong tide of the conscious mind that wants to churn and bubble- chatter and analyze. This particular victory is one that is hard to accomplish for many people- but the process does get easier with time and is beyond worth it.

Meditation does not have to be accomplished in the lotus position. Feel free to meditate wherever and however you wish. Meditation can be done at the same time as other activities like sewing, dancing, playing a musical instrument or creating a work of art. I have found in my own experience, however, that the lotus position becomes quite comfortable when adopted for a time- there is definitely a desire for the energy to move from the crown of the head to the base of the spine. This is recommended for the movement of the energy upward…and outward…and centered as well.

Taking into account the innumerous benefits of meditation…it is odd that more people do not do this. Indeed, however, the battle with the mind is a deal-breaker for most. I highly recommend the one consider making the conscious decision to stick it out and discover that it isn’t so difficult- just so very different. I myself am a novice at self discipline, but personally the feelings of euphoria and inner tranquility are more than enough to draw me to those places found only in meditation -as though I must feed a part of myself in these places and in this way the mind is naturally rewarded for its obedience.

The unfulfilled need for this vacation from conscious minds is part of what sends us into a state of disordered energy, blocked energy and dysfunctional lifestyles. Meditation seems to have a natural answer for energy build-ups and misfiring of all sorts. The body can tap into its natural ability to cleanse it energetic field and does so- gratefully. It is like breathing from a new set of lungs that have appeared in your body somewhere, somewhere deep down inside. Ahhh….

Clarity has to be sensed.

It has to be intuited.

You are on the foothills of a science.

Director of your path of life.

That physical life serves…serves a much deeper development of skills.

Skills that are multi-sensory.

This is a evolutionary necessity.

Our thoughts have power.

Our emotions have power.

We are each a universe unto ourselves, and

each a part of a universe greater still-

that we see more and more of, piece by piece… everyday
