The site will be designed to fit a large screen monitor rather than...heheh...a prehistoric laptop. I apologize for not doing this sooner; I was working with what I had. I must thank you who have enjoyed the site despite it's many techno-shortcomings. You rock. Now I have a computer that should be well up to the task of running the website. This is going to take a bit of time, however, as I am still trying to get programs transferred over and some minor issues need to be cleared up. This newsletter is the brainchild of Jackie Noel and Mary Cruise, whom together have created Integrative Energy Services. It is sure to open your child's eyes to new ways of thinking and experiencing life. **Still working on the page of herbal remedies. This is taking some time, so patience is in order! It is a challenge for me to decide what to add and what to add, for it was not my intention to write a book. But I am certainly enjoying the process. Also, I am going to improve the Chakra page to add information that should have probably been included some time ago- such as sanscrit names of the chakras, stones, senses and remedies that correlate to the chakras, and more about chakra dysfunctions. I am continuing to build on projects for the site as well as develop my own internal self spiritually. ***UPDATES...so I have finally decided to actually date the pages on this site to indicate when they were last updated. If you happen to notice, you will see that somewhere on the bottom of, I believe, most pages it indicates they were updated in either early or late June, 2007. If the page is being added for the first time, is should read, "this page added" on the date uploaded. ***SOM/SCO Garage Sale- It has not been determined what day this will occur but this will be more than a usual garage sale as there will be all kinds of garage sale items for sale as well as a selection of jewelry and artwork for sale from spiritualconcepts.org and a selection of books to examine from the School of Metaphysics- well worth checking out as these books are very inspiring and instructional. ****WOW there is a lot going on. I am getting increasingly more excited and grateful to be a part of the School of Metaphysics. Check out this workshop: link ~~~ this class has been approved bthe NASW of Kansas and Missouri for 9.25 CEU's (9.0 in Kansas) !! I am not sure I will be able to attend myself, but am thrilled with this development and personally feel it is a good day to be a social worker. ****Bear with me- while I try to catch up with updating this site. - take a moment to view some new content about the SCHOOL OF METAPHYSICS~~~I have recently begun taking weekly classes at the Columbia branch and though I have just started, these classes have already made a difference in my dream recall and ability to concentrate- thanks to assignments that keep me as disciplined as I can get with anything at the moment while helping me train the mind. These classes were recommended by a friend and I must agree they are truly mind stimulating and effective. |

A NEW PAGE has been created called CORRESPONDENCE ....check it out... it has been created to log and share some of the many interactions I have had with people on the subject of healing, dreaming, energy and more. This page will be added to regularly and is linked to Adrian's Page and other places. This page is somewhat like a FAQ page, but few people ever really asks me similar questions...lol. Just questions that some people might call, "odd." ***It appears that now I am going to go for the old LCSW sash. ***NEW SOMETHING: Check out these ABYSSAL EPISTLES (in addition to the Star*cast at the AstrologyLinks page) which depict a more depressing, yet somehow comical perspective on the planetary movements...written by the Baron Samadhi von Coppochalypse, Ph.D ** I finally recieved my diploma (MSW) - it actually happened after all this time...and I've been working for three and 1/2 months now at Valley Hope Treatment Center in Boonville, MO ***Due to an unfortunate hard drive crash, I have lost the Albertus font that I enjoy using on this site and no one has probably noticed, but everything is written in plain Times New Roman. I will try to figure this out soon...it is only one of many, many improvements I plan to make.

888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888 Happy New Year!!!! There are many great things in store for www.spiritualconcepts.org in 2007! What a fantastic year it has been and now ideas for growth and expansion are ready to be acted on. I also realize I love developing and keeping this site fresh and to be able to do that feels pretty good- especially for an Aries who finds routine of any sort to be extremely difficult. I have to give some credit here to the mamapotluckers (yes you SHOULD check out www.mamapotluck.com ) because these girls really impressed me when I became aware of what they were doing and it most definitely had the direct effect of inspiring me to find a way to do my own version of the same thing. And mamapotluck has been successful-even recognized in the local media for their success and originality (do they have a link for these articles on the site? hopefully). It may have taken me a while to finally get my own banner on the site, but I am really kind of proud to have it there. It goes to show - there is opportunity everywhere knocking...and like one of my drawings illustrates...there are doors everywhere. It is a matter of picking up the trail and doing the grunt work to some extent too. Some of the opportunities I previously refered to include : my new partner in crime: Jim Peckham - also very dedicated to the study of energy dynamics as well as the improvement of the planet as a whole the expansion of the bookstore - with the eventual goal of selling books directly from here but also includes affiliating with amazon.com- which will be a process of a sort... but this idea does involve the addition of many of Jim's highly recommended books which are powerful enough to make an impact on one's life. Go to the BOOKSTORE and check it out; it is highly improved. Peace Nook Affiliation - this is a fabulous event for SCO. The "nook" of downtown Columbia, MO- where you can buy your Dr. Brauner's soap or recycled toilet paper while picking up some nag champa and a new astrological calender for the year (see http://www.midmopeaceworks.org/) is now going to sell my jewelry! That way, one can actually get a better look at what the jewelry really looks like- and see some of the newer peices that I never got around to displaying here. The prices are reasonable and the jewelry is under warranty for six months. Even better- it helps to support another unique organization- Mid-Mo Peaceworks- with the goal of improving the planet. And hey what's wrong with that? ;) Spiritual Counseling Practice yes, I would like to finally get around to doing what I had in mind about a year ago when I created SCO- planning and developing my own spiritual counseling practice. This seems to be my calling for many reasons- but mostly because I do this sort of counseling almost all day almost every day. Furthermore, people are responsive to it..... without a doubt - on some level. Perhaps because they can sense the truth of the concepts (based on Caroline Myss, Barbara Brennon, Ambika Wauters and some others) for themselves. Or perhaps on some level they can also tell that I am really channelling when teach or counsel people- the information comes through me but is not from me and is not something I can even take much credit for teaching. This may be hard to understand but I am referring to a passion....or a calling....or whatever you want to call it...and I cannot hardly stop it...and it gets me into hot water at times too. Intuition does not always appear logical to some people. Lots of people. In Caroline Myss's DVD The Energetics of Healing, she discusses the beginnings of her vocation as an intuitive reader and gets people to understand -somehow- the awkward position one finds themselves in while trying to fit into a group- or tribe- as she would call it- when you percieve the world as so intricate, complex, intimate, fascinating, revealing, intertwined, divinely ordered, endlessly entertaining and spirit-enhancing as a healer does. There are many different levels to reality one can attune to and life becomes a series of miracles when one learns to follow the guidance that is actually ever present. Along with that comes the ever growing awareness of additional dimensions of reality as well as a growing ability to sense those dimenstions which represents itself in a variety of ways. Clothes are picked out with purpose. Words are chosen more carefully. Coincidences occur more often than ever and the concept of 'synchronicity' is in full effect. Some people start getting acupuncture or massages or take a dance class. These are the things people do when they are happy as well and synchronicity is always a joyful experience. SOME people really grip the new concepts and develop what you might call the ability or what you might call the irresistable urge and literal need to begin communicating to their guides in the most detailed of ways- these include meditating (essential), automatic writing, intuitive reading, channelling, aura reading, dream healing and astral projection and some others I cannot think of at the moment. These skills are serious and totally real -though you can never be garunteed that a person is doing what they say are doing. This may be true, but it is no problem because your heart (or gut if you prefer) will tell you if the connection is there or the situation is right or if the person can help you. Just remember to listen to your heart- my fellow overthinkers! and the rest of you too. ***I have switched web browsers from IE 6 to Firefox 2- which means overhauling the whole site because Firefox arranges the content differently on the page. I am going to be adding small improvements and additional content in various places throughout the whole site- as well as patching up the holes here and there. The concepts section is growing and the astrologylinks section will be added to. I know- it is about time. Very special thanks goes to my matey Jim Peckham for tech support. ***Don't forget about the Beaux Arts Bizarre on November 24-26. I won't be there on Friday, but plan on being there Saturday and Sunday. The new pendants will be there (also to be added soon) as well as possibly some brand new jewelry from Simon. *DONE WITH SCHOOL- I am still dragging my heels a bit on updating the site which has new dreams, new songs and new ideas waiting to be added and implemented. Things are changing as I will now be on the hunt for employment or possibly moving to Portland, Oregon. Intuition is usually the key to these sorts of puzzles for me, at least, so I am keeping my eyes wide open at the moment. Oh, yes, and there are new chakra pendants too. ***THANKS TO MY FULTON FRIENDS- Annette, Ronnie and Kim for their support and participation in the Columbia Village Art Walk- which actually turned out to be a good time. Sometimes support is found in the most unexpected of places! *well, been getting a little behind on things lately since more career duties have popped up. At any rate, some new developments have nonetheless manifested: - Check out Adrian's Page...this new page is part of a dream bank that I am creating for this site. It is obviously very tiny and new at the moment, but will hopefully develop over time. Who is Adrian? A lucid dreamer from Australia who is kind enough to share with us his lucid dream experiences. This is extremely exciting to me as it helps us all to share these experiences and hopefully learn from them as a result. I am overjoyed to have another person to be part of the dream bank of this site...whom I can be inspired and educated by. - This is a very very new project...but well worth mentioning. I am beginning to make electronic music with the highly useful Reason software. I will hopefully be able to upload my tracks on the Reason Page. This is neat because, if I can fix a few problems, these tracks will be downloadable- able to be listened to by others and used for mixing other tracks as well- for those people who have Reason software. The only down side of this is that I have ALOT to learn about this software and so I may become somewhat of a hermit for a while. I have been wanting to do this for a long time and it will be worth the work involved. A big thanks to Ken Hock and Kelly Michels for their help in this endeavor. |
