Connecting to the other side is as easy as opening your mind. It doesn't take psychic ability (if there really is such a thing) to learn the truth. It's really quite simple: either we die and that's it, or we die and continue. If the later is true, then we HAVE to be surrounded by those that have transcended this reality. With this knowledge, alls ya gots to do is increase your powers of observation. (I love the simplicity of the Universe, and it's this very simplicity that will help all of us reach higher states of awareness.)
Equating energy with consciousness is a HUGE step in this realization. It's important because the intelligence of energy can be sensed with your body and mind, and this very intelligence will react to your thoughts. How so? Let's break it down a little: Your mind is equated with electricity. This energy grabs and flexes your muscles to move your body as you think to do so (amazing, huh?) As you think, your energy does. This very same energy, in an external sense, can do the same thing. It can cause vibrations, make your muscles twitch, make ringing noises in your ears... Equate the things that energy does within your own body, and bring this observations to the external sense - and you will begin to see and sense the intelligent energies in your very presence. It's all about observation. Something the talking monkeys have to learn yet, haha....
The next major catalyst in human evolution will be the connection with non-physical beings of light. This not only includes those that were once human, but those that have never been human at all. The fundamental reality of consciousness is formless energy, and because of this, what we are experiencing is a fragment of the whole. So open your mind to a greater reality which encampasses not only this experience, but the next. ; )
