There are seven chakras which we are aware of. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Chakra Pendants~~7cp

Each chakra correlates to specific part of our biology,

our emotional health and our spiritual health. The chakras

are depicted in the diagram shown. The colors of chakras

are directly related to the colors of our auras, as our auras

are visual manifestations the different energies of the chakras,

how they interact and how well they are functioning.

All the chakras are related in some way, but for each person the chakras are related differently. There are, however, some healers now saying that the chakras have a relationship with other chakras that is universal to all humans. These particular relationships are listed here, along with a description of each chakra.

The First Chakra –

The first chakra is our center of survival. It is the closest to the earth, and when we die, our bodies return to the earth.

This chakra manifests its energy when we are in situations that are:

1)      related to practical concerns, such as money

2)      related to violence or threatening energy in any way

3)      related to sexuality-to a degree. This is more true for men than women because the organs of reproduction for women are located near the second chakra rather than the first

4)      related to taking care of others (the mother/father vs. victim archetypes- see archetypes).

The first chakra serves as a foundation for the rest- and a person will be unable to feel grounded in reality without this chakra functioning properly- which will affect all the other chakras in ways that vary with each person- but will ultimately disable the other chakras in some way- until this chakra is healed.

The Second Chakra-

The second chakra is our center of emotion, control, one-on-one relationships and personal will. Because we store emotional energy in our digestive systems, it is located in our lower abdomen area.

This chakra manifests its energy when we are in situations that are:

1)      Related to our emotions and feelings – about ourselves and others

2)      related to personal relationships

3)      related to control battles

4)      related to our personal will versus the wills of our partners or other close contacts in our lives

The Third Chakra -

The third chakra is our center of power. It is located at the center of our torso, near the diaphragm. It is also called the solar plexus.

This chakra manifests its energy when we are in situations that are:

1)      related to either our personal power or our external (career, public, monetary)  power

2)      related to our self esteem and confidence

3)      related to our ability to assert our power in the world

4)      related to our motivation in general

5)      related to differences in power and all issues of power in our relationships with others in either our careers or our personal lives

The Fourth chakra-

The fourth chakra is our center of love. It is located near and connected to our hearts.

(versus the first chakra which is taking care of others- these two chakras are related for this reason).

This chakra manifests its energy when we are in situations that are:

1)      related to love in any way, shape or form- including universal

2)      related to our ability to connect with others

3)      related to our ability to care for others emotionally as well as practically (in this situation one can clearly see the relationship between the first and fourth in that the first chakra is more related to practical caring for others whereas this chakra is related to caring for others emotionally as well as practically – which is basically what is means to love and care for another person)

The Fifth Chakra-

The fifth chakra is our center of communication and divine will (versus the second chakra which is personal will- these two chakras are related for this reason)- also includes divine communication versus personal communication.

This chakra manifests its energy when we are in situations that are:

1)      Important to us in terms of communication- either important because they are challenging, inspiring, fulfilling or not

2)      Related to our own views of our abilities to communicate- and how we feel about them

3)      Challenging to us in terms of rectifying our personal will versus our divine will (as perceived by our intuition and connection to our higher power- whatever that may be)

The fifth chakra is considered a gateway to spiritual dimensions by some people because when we learn to communicate our Truth (our spiritual beliefs as we know them), in a way that is not controlling or judgmental, we are essentially acting on our Truth. By communicating our beliefs to others in a healing way, we are beginning the process of releasing our personal will to the will of the divine world.

The Sixth Chakra-

The sixth chakra is our center of spiritual wisdom (versus the third chakra which is related to practical wisdom).

This chakra manifests its energy when we:

1)      Begin to open up to spiritual dimensions that are a part of this world but unable to be perceived by most people

a.       This is also called astral projection by some healers – see astral projection

2)      Begin to see the auras, chakras and energy of other people

3)      Begin to see how the energy functions or not- and if not,

                                                                           i.      why it will not function,

                                                                         ii.      which chakras are affected,

iii.      how cloudy or bright the aura is,

iv.      whether disease is manifesting- biological, mental, emotional or spiritual

                                                                         v.       eventually: the inside of a person’s body- all internal systems

1.      a healer can also develop microscopic vision depending on their level of skill (how much fear or skepticism they may be holding on to somewhere in their fields, how much they have practiced internal vision, how strong their will is)

4)      Begin to see the disease process of a person and also see the actual life events that triggered the process of energetic degeneration-leading to disease.

5)      Begin to learn how to use one’s own energetic field to heal others with the combination of the information received (described above) about the illness and the skills developed as a healer.

The sixth chakra is sometimes called the “third eye.” This is partially because of the location of the chakra, but is also because when we enter into the astral plane and begin to experience other spiritual dimensions of reality; we first begin by meditating and going into a state of trance. As we go further into this state of trance and begin to vibrate, we begin to see a projected double of ourselves staring back at us-but because we see the energy before the body- what we first see is a violet, spiraling circle (the sixth chakra of the double) that to some appears to be an eye staring directly at our foreheads. There is also a sensation of having three eyes because when the chakra begins to open, we begin to develop a “sixth” sense – which acts and feels like an eye- one which is highly stimulating and definitely includes visual phenomena- and is located in the middle of the forehead.

Be Careful

Do not attempt to open the sixth chakra unless you are prepared to do so. The effects of trying to develop one’s ability to astral project too quickly can be damaging. One must work closely with guides, stay always positive, never let fear take over and be able to meditate and hold a focus of intention for a long period of time. Otherwise, mental health and even physical health issues will result.

The Seventh Chakra

The seventh chakra is our center of our direct relationship with God- however we know him/her or it to be. It is beautiful white and golden light color. It has no particular relationship to another chakra that I am aware of.

This chakra manifests its energy when we:

1)      Experience total communion with our higher power

2)      Pray and directly communicate with our higher power in any way

3)      Enter into spiritual dimensions that are higher than the astral/celestial plane- ones which I know almost nothing about

When people have out of body or near-death experiences, they often describe seeing “a light at the end of the tunnel.” According to some healers, this light at the end of the tunnel is actually the visual part of experiencing the soul exiting out of the body through the seventh chakra. We can see inside the body and out because our souls detached from our bodies can see inside our own bodies.  As we are leaving, the circle surrounded by darkness that we see is actually our normal visual perception of the room we are in that is getting smaller and smaller because it is obscured by the dense darkness- this is the inside of our bodies as we expect to see them. When our soul completes its journey to the dimension we travel when we die, our soul has just exited the top of our head and is now experiencing total communion with our higher power and all other souls (a heaven-like reality). If we exit the seventh chakra by means of soul-traveling skills that have been developed (meditation, education and proper preparation) we may be seeing the astral/celestial dimension rather than the after-death reality of total communion with God. If we exit the seventh chakra by means of soul-traveling skill but are taken over by fear at any point, we may either develop major mental or physical health problems.
